The kid
It's a true story. As a kid, Tenev thought he'd grow up to be a collector — but his family could only afford a single little toy brick ambulance. "I remember [thinking] if I have money, I would get every Lego."
The builder
No bricks? No problem. He builds with what he has: code, grit, and an obsession with giving everyone access to what was once out of reach.
The tribute
$LEGO honors that story. For every kid who couldn't afford the box — and built the whole toy store instead. Brick by brick, block by block.
